 Friday night Sound Bath Journeys

Experience the enchanting sound of pure quarz cystal bowls and the remarkable Alchemy bowls infused with gemstones and precious metals.

In a sound bath you lay down, get really cosy and let the sounds wash over you.  Hearing a sound bath is different to listening to music as there is no melody.  The sounds are un-structured and encourage a new way of listening that is non judgemental and mindful.  This allows you to let go of  your analytic mind and as  your brain waves slow down and ease into a calm peaceful place without you having to do anything. It's a bit like having a deep meditation state being dropped into your body.

Combined with a powerful intention that optimises the healing effects of the bowls you will leave rebalanced, recharged and revitalised each week has a different theme so get in touch via the contact page for more details

Places are very limited 6 people each week  $44pp

NEW COURSE

Restful Yoga  a 4 week course to learn restorative yoga for beginners
Thursdays 5.30- 7.00 pm From May 3 $100

Restorative Yoga
is to Yoga what the slow food movement is to food! This is a deep restful style of Yoga that can at first seem a bit intimidating to busy people who find it hard to slow down but can be the most nourishing practice you can introduce into your self-care routine.

Restorative Yoga is done using equipment like blankets, yoga bolsters and blocks that support you in positions that encourage deep rest and good breathing. The grounding; complete, full breathing; and quietness of restorative yoga help us to move into the relaxation response, a neurological state that tells us we are safe, and moves us out of “flight or fight” mode,  initiating the body’s self-healing process.

It’s a very safe form of Yoga that can be practiced while in recovery from injuries, cancer and a number of chronic health conditions. It is also the perfect counterpoint to gym routines, marathon training, and high intensity sports.

Benefits
There are a great number of studies on restorative yoga and the benefits that may come from practicing it are a reduction in depression, improved mental health and wellbeing, better sleep, improved fertility, reduced fat due to changes in cortisol levels, more energy and improved breathing.
