iRest Yoga nidra is simple, and anyone can learn to do it. It is learnt lying down rather than the more formal meditation practice of sitting, and this helps you to go into a restful state more easily. You are fully guided into a meditative state in which you are neither awake nor asleep and your body is at completely at rest. It feels really great, like you are on the edge of sleep, a blissful kind of zoning out.

I've practiced mediation for much of my life and love to help people through meditation. Working one to one is a powerful way to learn and a therapeutic practice for personal healing work that helps you resolve your mental, emotional and physical issues. I can tailor the session for your own specific needs and you will receive customised audio practices to take home. It is a wonderful way to deepen your own meditation. The key principle is learning to welcome all that is arising within us unconditionally, without the need to fix, change or shy away from anything. We will be covering a range of meditation techniques including iRest™? Yoga Nidra (which is a trauma friendly, scientifically based, secular form of guided meditation) All the meditation practices are very life affirming and enjoyable.
It's only 6 weeks but if you commit to the course and some short home practices you will start to feel a real difference and deepen a journey you have already begun or make a fresh start.
