The sanctuary is in Tutukaka, over looking one of the most incredible coastlines in New Zealand. The sea views are spectacular with entrancing views of the Poor Knights Islands.
It's an easy 3 hour drive from Auckland and in a very private location sitting on 6.8 hectares that is part of a QE2 Trust for native bush and birds. With no light pollution the night skies are truly amazing. Can you imagine yourself soaking in the hot tub at night enjoying the warm as you bask in the glow of the full moon and look for shooting stars ?

- We can all feel a bit stuck sometimes in work or our relationships or just in our way of thinking. Come and experience how amazing it feels when daily magical Reiki infused Sound Baths create space for powerful vibrational shifts in the body and mind.
- We will open our retreat with a ritual gong bath to wash away everything that you are tired of holding onto ... the old ideas, useless nagging thoughts, anxiety and busyness. And on Friday we will bask in the potent brilliance of a Full Moon, so powerful for helping you to see with greater clarity.
- Amplify this experience of sound healing with calming periods of deep listening and silence. This will be a delightful exploration in the supportive and encouraging environment of a retreat. It will really help you to quieten your mind and get clear on your needs and values.
- During the retreat you will discover how journalling is a fantastic way to let off steam and release stress as well as increase your self awareness. I'll be helping you with insightful journal prompts each day and revealing what an amazing self care tool it can be to awaken your own intuition and insight.
- And won't it be exciting to enjoy your body and celebrate how good you feel when you have the space for daily gentle Yoga and movement. You may find it inspires you to create a simple daily routine so that you take the benefits of the retreat home with you.
You will leave this retreat feeling more feel more deeply connected to a peaceful inner space that is too often suffocated. And feeling ignited by sparking personal clarity and the joy of releasing stress and tension to allow your creative life force energy to shine.
I am excited to create this retreat for you and will be sharing over 25 years of teaching experience. This is my second retreat in this fabulous location and it feels to good to beconnected to nature in this beautiful space for our Sound baths and Yoga sessions. What a place to watch the sun rise in our optional early morning meditation if you care to join me.
I'm super happy that we have a fabulous in house chef Julianne from Bluewaters Sanctuary to prepare delicious, nourishing plant-based meals - Imagine steaming bowls of delicious soup, home made bread, and roasted vegetables with fresh herbs from the garden. It will all be very yummy and there will be plenty of treats too.

I have attended a number of retreats in my life, but Cheryl's one was absolutely in a league of it's own. The accommodation was incredible, in a breathtaking location. Right from the start, Cheryl made us all feel very welcome, and her knowledge of wellness and health is so expansive. We learned so much over this retreat but also had lots of downtime, reflection and time to get to know the other wonderful women. I think what was particularly special for me was the ability to simply switch off from day to day life, and feel completely taken care of. I had the feeling of space and calm throughout the entire weekend.

The secluded and tranquil retreat venue creates a calming space to be at peace with onself. Cheryl's amazing gift to create magical sound baths that are healing to the soul is definitely the highlight for me. I also enjoyed viewing the full blue moon, getting up early for the sunrise meditation and gentle morning yoga as well as yoga nidra at night. Other fun activities such as the coastal walk with it's beautiful scenery... A bonus is that participants in any activity is optional so one gets to decide what's best for the. I'm really happy that i went on this particular retreat on my journey back to the light.

The Accomodation and Prices
This is not a bunk room style retreat. Yes the rooms are shared but it's not cramped. The beds are comfortable with quality linens and fresh towels supplied. There are different options with a range of prices to suit your budget.

GLAMPING TENT - TWIN SHARE - FULLY BOOKED
The large lotus bell tent has its own stunning shower and toilet. It is' only steps away from the magnificent glass fronted sauna. There is a kitchenette but it is only a minute from the house where there is a 24/7 drinks and snacks station.
The glamping tent is fully lined, with it's own deck area and shaded awning. The views are amazing.
This space has one queen bed.

Payment must be made by direct bank transfer. If you prefer to pay by credit card that can be arranged with a 3% surcharge. However, I am very happy to offer you an interest free monthly payment plan. To secure this you will need to make a non refundable deposit of $200 deposit BOOK HERE

If you cancel your place more than 60 days beforehand, you will be refunded in full LESS $200. This covers costs incurred due to bookings made on your behalf and administration fees.
Cancellations made with two months of the retreat (23 MARCH) are non-refundable UNLESS your spot can be filled by someone else. If your spot is filled you will receive back all payments you have made EXCEPT for $200 which is non-refundable.
If the event is cancelled by The Yoga Studio due to illness it will be re scheduled and if you can't make the new date you will receive a full refund LESS $200 which is non-refundable.
